About the Grievening Post
Grievening. Noun. [Gr-eev-ning]
Although a made up word, I know if you're reading this you're part of a special club which understand the meaning perfectly. The second you sit after a long busy day, feet go up, cuppa in tow. That's when the bloody bastard strikes, when it senses you've let your guard down. Grief is a fickle thing and in an odd attempt to make friends (ok well not friends, we are more going with flatmates who both take the bins out.) with my grief I have decided to work on my neutrality regarding the subject. Damn can I attest to the fact it is inherently very sad but as much as I hate to address it...we will all die, boo! This is a fact that I would like to better co-exist with and so the Grievening Post was born. Aiming to give me purpose in my grief and explore my feelings on the subject in a neutral manner (said no paper ever...) The GP brings you weekly headlines based off real life conversations.
